I've found that the best way to get Dillon to wake up happy, is to plop his baby sister onto his bed. They talk baby talk while I help Dillon decide what the outfit of the day will be.

Many nights before putting Dillon down for bed I would put one hand on his feet and one on his head then say, "Dont grow up tonight, I want you to stay my little baby." Dillon use to laugh and tell me that he had to grow up. Now he's so tall and handsome. Now when I say it he replies with, "Mom, haven't we been over this already?"

It is so beautiful to see how much those kids love each other...When I was in Dallas and got Dillon up for school, it was definitely much easier to get him up when I had Madalynn with me. I remember how happy he wakes up to his sister. He loves her so much!
