I have been threatening to paint our kitchen table & chairs. Last fall I stained the entry table in the foray and it turned out nice. 
After watching a 'Martha' where she detailed restoring & renewing wood furniture. I primed & painted. Mike sanded down the table top & stapled on the new upholstery. My only regret with this project is... that we didn't do it sooner.
