I've always wanted to travel threw the deep south, ever since falling in love with Orry Main, played by Patrick Swazye in the 1985 TV mini series, 'North & South'.
I knew that one day I would have a daughter and name her after the heroine, Madeline Fabray LaMotte who secretly helped hide, free & liberate the slaves from her own family's plantation. 
Gone with the Wind was good but 'North & South' changed my little life, causing me to think about what freedom really meant.
