Lady Soffia of Skamania

Lady Soffia of Skamania passed away May 25, 2007 at the St. George Animal Hospital after a courageous battle of bone cancer. She was born January 9, 1999 to Thunder Run's Son A Skamania and Thunder Runs Gwenavere, in Evergreen Washington. By eight weeks old Soffie had began her adventures in traveling when she flew to Anchorage Alaska where she became the beloved pet of Jessica Pratt. Soffie graduated from Puppy Kindergarten then went on to obtain her K9 College degree in Obedience. She was a life long member of the American Kennel Club and the Mastiff Club of America. As a Beautiful Fawn English Mastiff she always got noticed. Soffie was known threw out our neighborhood as Kids often knocked on our door asking if Soffie could come out to play. As the breed is not common; often crowds gathered asking questions about her. This was both fun and annoying but Soffie enjoyed the attention. Soffie was ment to be a showdog. She gave up her carrer to be a stay at home dog. Never complaining she was a loving pet. Her hobbies included Bird watcching, long walks and running threw water. From Salmon fishing on the Keni River in Alaska to looking for Dinosaur tracks in St. George Utah, Soffie loved the outdoor walks with her best buddy Dillon. She had a divine drive to obtain milkbone treats and devoted intent focus on nap time. Soffie dedicated her life to her family. A Nanny to Dillon, she let him run cars up and down her back and nudged him along when he learned to crawl. Soffie treated Dillon like he was her own puppy. Friends and family are invited to offer their condolences at the funeral services which will be conducted on June 22, 5p.m. at Dillons Grandma and Grandpa's residence in Oak City Canyon. Spreading ashes will follow along the Oak Creek. "Her happiest moments were when running threw water, so it seems appropriate to give her one last swim. This time she woun't be prancing back to shake water onto us. Soffie was gentle, loyal, and a good friend. She loved Dillon more than anything else in the world and we were lucky to have her in our life's." Jessica
